Dr. Willette O. Wright, President
Dr. Wright is an ordained Elder who is committed to the development of women in their various roles and responsibilities. Her passion is for "coming alongside" women to help and support them in becoming "fit" for leading spiritually, personally, professionally, and academically. In her role as preacher, consultant, and trainer, she has provided servant-leadership for churches, businesses, and educational organizations. She also serves as Chaplain for the WNBA Champion Washington Mystics.
As an Elder, Dr. Wright has held various positions with From the Heart Church Ministries®. Her professional positions include Church Administrator; Director of Curriculum, Professional Development, and Training; Principal for the From the Heart Christian School; Executive Advisor to the Pastor; and Lead Elder. In addition to her professional career with the Church, Dr. Wright has served in Higher Education as an Adjunct Professor with Strayer University and the University of Maryland Global College. |
Dr. Wright is a graduate of the University of Maryland at College Park where she earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Speech and Hearing Science. As a graduate of the University of the District of Columbia, she received a Master of Science Degree in Communication Sciences. Dr. Wright also earned the Doctor of Education Degree in Organizational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University.
Ms. Antoinette Foxx
Ms. Antoinette Foxx is a sister, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend who has worked and served in supporting yet key roles in the Federal Government, ministry, and most importantly in the lives of countless women around the world. She has served on Boards of Directors as the “voice of wisdom” in leading organizations to impactful success.
A graduate of Anacostia High School Class of 1965, Ms. Foxx worked in the Federal Government for 25 years at the Securities and Exchange Commission; Civil Service Commission; Department of Health, Education and Welfare; and Congressional Budget Office. While employed at the Congressional Budget Office, Ms. Foxx was the Assistant Editor for the American Economic Association Newsletter from 1987 to 1989. |
In December 2017, Ms. Foxx retired after 28 years of serving as the Secretary/Executive Assistant to Dr. John A. Cherry, Founding Pastor and Episcopal Pastor Emeritus of From the Heart Church Ministries Worldwide™. As an Executive Assistant to the Episcopal Pastor for a worldwide church, she has supported the development of programs and activities around the world through her administrative acumen, exquisite attention to detail, and Christ-centered diplomacy. She has been lovingly known as a “force to be reckoned with.”
For several years in the late 70s through early 80s, Ms. Foxx volunteered as a reading tutor at the Mother Dear’s Community Center in the District of Columbia under the leadership of Reverend Annie Woodridge. From 2006 to 2009, she volunteered as a mentor in the Sisters to Sisters empowerment program for female inmates at the Prince George’s County Detention Center. From 2010 through 2016, she served on the Board of Directors for the Ryan Odelle Mance Memorial Scholarship Foundation, Inc.; a non-profit organization that provides scholarships to deserving African American males to attend college. Ms. Foxx received the Foundation’s Merit Award in July 2013 and was appointed secretary of the Board in 2015.
Mrs. Foxx is an experienced and exacting copy editor. She has the gift of proofreading and in 2006 she officially registered Osedella’s Daughter, a Professional Proofreading and Copy Editing Service. She has had the honor of proofreading and editing numerous manuscripts over the years; including several published books. Ms. Foxx has inked a poignant biography entitled Osedella’s Daughter. The book chronicles Mrs. Foxx’s experiences growing up as a young mother under the influence of her beloved grandmother.

Dr. Yvette J. Snowden
Dr. Yvette J. Snowden is Vice-President for Workforce Development and Continuing Education (WDCE) at Prince George’s Community College. Dr. Snowden is responsible for leadership, oversight, and direction of more than 800 employees, faculty, and the college’s workforce development programs and initiatives. Over half of the college’s 44,000 students enroll in WDCE programs and courses to gain skills, licensure and/or certifications, or for personal enrichment.
Dr. Snowden’s experience includes design, development, and implementation of workforce development, continuing education, and community education courses and programs serving diverse student populations. Dr. Snowden is an active member of her community and previously served on the boards of directors for The Arc of Prince George’s County and the Parents’ Place of Maryland. She holds a Doctorate of Education in Organizational Leadership (Nova Southeastern University); Master of Science, Computer Information Systems (Strayer University), and Bachelor of Science., Business Administration (Bowie State University).

Dr. Sarah AdewunmiDr. Sarah Adewunmi has practiced outpatient orthopedic Physical Therapy rehabilitation for over 10 years. She has served as clinical instructor over the years and has also worked in academia. Born and raised in New Jersey she is a transplant to the Washington, DC metropolitan area graduating with a bachelor’s degree in biology and a Master of Physical Therapy degree from Howard University. She received a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Boston University. She currently serves as a United States Military Physical Therapist.
Dr. Adewunmi is the Co-chaplain for the Washington Spirit Professional soccer team and WNBA Washington Mystics. She recently accepted a position to serve as Chairman of the Board for the University of Maryland at College Park Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA). In addition to her professional pursuits, Dr. Adewunmi and her siblings recently opened InTouch Wellness, a successful life coaching practice in Alexandria, Virginia. The practice partners with individuals, families, organizations, and communities to help them to “put a demand on their potential” by achieving goals through coaching, counseling, personal, and family development. Dr, Adewunmi is a major sports fan supporting the New York Yankees, Giants, and Knicks along with Washington DC’s Spirit, Mystics, and Wizards. She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, participating in local/international mission trips, and experiencing various foods. |
Ms. Lauren Turner
Lauren Turner is a creative, energetic, media professional with comprehensive knowledge in the music industry. Prior to her start in music, Lauren jump-started her career working for the late U.S. Senate Democratic leader, Harry Reid, on Capitol Hill where she worked for his Administrative and Communications teams. Following her time on the Hill, Lauren transitioned into the music industry where she found joy in brand marketing and events.
She most recently held the position of Promotions Director at Radio One where she created, oversaw, and executed events and listener contests for multiple radio stations in the market. During her five-year tenure, Lauren also served many roles on production teams for awards shows and radio station concerts working with a variety of artists from an array of genres. Lauren continues to make strides in the music industry by focusing on freelancing and brand consulting. She also enjoys giving back to her community and helping those who desire to learn more about the industry. Lauren is a proud graduate of Hampton University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Broadcast Journalism at Scripps Howard School of Journalism and Communications. |
